The Carroll Goalie School has been a trusted goalie development leader since we started in 1995. Goalies who train at CGS get the expert coaching and positive feedback they need to maximize development. In our challenging, upbeat, and fun learning environment, they’ll build strong fundamentals, gain confidence, and elevate their overall game.

Our programs are led by two-time NCAA National Champion Steve Carroll, an Edina, Minnesota native who coaches goalies at the youth, high school and college levels. He was an All-American goalie and Top 10 finalist for the Hobey Baker Award at Minnesota State, Mankato and has been inducted in the Minnesota State and Edina High School athletic halls of fame.

CGS sessions will be held on weekends during June-September at six arenas in Minnesota (Blaine, Eagan, Richfield, Sauk Rapids, and St. Michael-Albertville, St. Paul (TRIA Rink) and one in West Des Moines, Iowa.

There are four specialized programs for boys and girls ages 6–14 — Intro to Goaltending, Intermediate Skills, Advanced Skills, and Tryout Tune-Up.
